The Dallas Stars have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with veteran backup goaltender Anton Khudobin. The deal will pay Khudobin $5 million over the two seasons and will carry a reasonable $2.5 million cap hit over its duration. Anton Khudobin will sign with the Dallas Stars. Excellent pick up for the Stars. —

There’s no place like home for the Dallas Stars, who are 10-4-0 at the American Airlines Center this season. They struggled mightily away from Dallas last season, posting a disappointing 12-24-5 road record, and are 6-9-1 as visitors so far in 2017-18. The Stars left town after practice Sunday, heading east on a tough four-game

The Dallas Stars had a very long week.  It began last Saturday with a satisfying 5-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres. Saturday night’s good vibes evaporated quickly, however, thanks to a Central Division nemesis. After allowing the Winnipeg Jets a 3-0 head start for the second time in five days, the Stars lacked the firepower

Nobody said the Dallas Stars’ road to the Stanley Cup would be straight and level…or even paved, for that matter. The Stars returned home very early Friday morning, following a less-than-successful five-game road trip. Though a 2-3-0 record kept the trip out of the ‘complete disaster’ category, bookending it with losses to division rivals Colorado

It seemed like a typical Friday night at Snuffers in Highland Village, Texas. There wasn’t a seat available at the bar as patrons chatted about the end of another work week, the movies playing next door at the AMC and the local sports scene. Making the customers’ favorite drinks from behind the bar was Kristina

The Dallas Stars were busy this summer signing arguably the two best unrestricted free agent forwards on the market to multi-year contracts. First, they signed mountainous Martin Hanzal to a three-year deal worth $14.25 million. The 30-year-old Czech native is 6 foot 6 and 230 pounds. Hanzal excels at faceoffs and brings needed help to

To improve their last line of defense, they traded for Ben Bishop and signed him to a six-year deal before the giant goalie

The Dallas Stars are building a formidable prospect pipeline, thanks to the Detroit Red Wings. Between 1990 and 2017, the Red Wings qualified for the Stanley Cup playoffs an amazing 25 consecutive seasons. Key to that run was the ability to consistently identify and draft NHL-caliber talent, whether near the bottom of the first round
